Does GTA 6 Have Cheat Codes?
Yes — GTA 6 does have cheat codes, following the same tradition as every GTA game before it. Rockstar Games has included button-sequence cheats for PS5/PS4 and Xbox, as well as phone number cheats for PC players. These GTA VI cheats let you spawn vehicles, change the weather, get weapons, and activate special abilities directly in Story Mode.
How to Enter Cheat Codes in GTA 6
Knowing how to enter cheat codes in GTA 6 is simple — no pause menu required. Just press the button sequence quickly during gameplay and a confirmation message will appear on screen. Here’s how it works on each platform:
- PS5 / PS4: Enter the button sequence directly on your controller during gameplay
- Xbox Series X/S / Xbox One: Same sequences using Xbox buttons (△ = Y, ○ = B, × = A, □ = X, L1 = LB, L2 = LT, R1 = RB, R2 = RT)
- PC: Open the in-game phone, go to Contacts, and dial the cheat phone number (numbers confirmed at launch)
Important: cheat codes disable Trophies and Achievements for that session. Always save your game before activating any GTA 6 cheats.

Which GTA 6 Cheat Code Should You Use First?
If you’re jumping into Vice City for the first time and want to have some fun right away, here are our top picks:
- GTA 6 Spawn Tank Cheat — Nothing beats rolling through Vice City in a Rhino tank on day one
- Weapon Set 3 (Nutter Weapons) — Instant access to the most powerful weapons
- Low Gravity — Makes driving and jumping completely chaotic and hilarious
- GTA 6 Spawn Jetpack Cheat — Explore the full GTA 6 map from the air without unlocking it
- Give Health, Armor & $250K — Great for surviving tough missions early on
Can You Use Cheats in GTA 6 Online?
No — GTA 6 cheat codes do not work in GTA Online. Cheats are disabled in GTA Online to maintain fair gameplay for all players. All the codes listed here work exclusively in GTA 6 Story Mode. If you try to enter a cheat while in an Online session, nothing will happen.
Do Cheat Codes Disable Trophies in GTA 6?
Yes. Activating any GTA 6 cheat code will disable Trophies (PS5) and Achievements (Xbox) for the entire play session. The moment you enter a cheat, the game flags that session as “cheats used” and locks all Trophy/Achievement progress until you reload a clean save. Always save your game manually before activating any cheats if you want to keep your Trophy progress.
